RANKIN FAMILY MINISTRIES, INC.
JAMES D. RANKIN
James accepted Jesus as his Savior in 1981, but was called into the ministry more than twenty years later, praying for the wife of a pastor in the Crow Nation of eastern Montana. He has served as a minister with the Church of God in Christ. Rankin Family Ministries, Inc. was organized in 2006 with the goal of preaching the good news of Jesus Christ, and to support the body of believers wherever there is opportunity.
James is also a writer, and is the author of CORPUS: Revelations and Reflections on the Body of Christ, along with several articles that have appeared in other publications.
In addition, James carries on what was a family tradition in his ancestors' native Scotland, playing the bagpipes in churches, in conferences and as a call to believers to the service of the Great King - both the great hymns of the Church and modern worship choruses. He is a member of the International Fellowship of Christian Pipers and Drummers (see PIPING page).
