We are pleased to announce the release of Healing Music by Carolyn Huebner Rankin, the true story of several miracles surrounding Carolyn's back surgery. Healing Music is published by Crossover Publications of Jackson, Mississippi.
Diagnosed in her 20s with a degenerative bone disorder and told she would be in a wheelchair by the time she was 35, Carolyn fought the effects of the disease until 2007 when she underwent spinal fusion surgery and began an adventure with God that would introduce her to the sounds of Heaven itself.
Rankin Family Ministries is making available autographed first edition, first printing copies of Healing Music for $15.00 per book (cost includes postage). To order, please send check or money order to:

Last month, we marked the first anniversary of Carolyn's major back surgery, where all of her lumbar vertebrae were fused in order to take pressure off of her spinal nerves to the lower half of her body. The surgery went miraculously well; her recovery was well ahead of schedule, and the surgery itself was relatively bloodless — less than 250cc. More importantly, everyone connected to the procedure was witness to the presence and work of God in the midst of it all. We give our heartfelt thanks to the Lord and to those of you who were praying for Carolyn during this time.

My wife, Carolyn, recently underwent lumbar spinal fusion surgery, and is home recuperating; your prayers for her speedy recovery will be greatly appreciated. Though the Lord saw fit to have her go through the surgery, He did perform a miracle in the operation, one that has been seen by the doctors and neurosurgery staff at the hospital and one for which we give God all praise -- not to mention the fact that we look forward to her having been set free from 25 years of suffering from a degenerative spinal disc disorder. Details will be forthcoming in the future, as this has become part of our testimony and part of the ministry.
On a completely different matter, I made my debut at the end of May with the Black Bexar Pipe Band, playing at the graduation ceremonies for Highlands High School at San Antonio's Alamodome. While this may not appear (on the surface) to have anything to do with ministry, I do hope to be able to play some of the great old hymns of the church on the Great Highland Bagpipe.

This being a new ministry, our very existence is the recent news. But there will be more to come in the months ahead. We will try to keep this as current as possible as we prepare new messages, travel throughout the country, and have new things to share with everybody.
